Want to get rich selling your records?

So you think if you sign a record deal then you're set for life? If so then I'm the Pope! Check the facts. Did you know that if you had a deal and sold 500,000.00 copies of your CD, you would only make between 35 or 40 thousand dollars. So where does the rest of the money go? Not to you, that's for sure! You see, the label is always going to get their investment back first. My experience has been that everything a label does to promote your career is highly over-inflated. Example: your recording session on average would cost you 100,000 to 190,000. Then there's tour support, record promotion, PR, manager, booking agent, oh yeah for you superstars a personal assistant, and on and on.
So where do I make my money? First, you had better rest up because now you're about to go to work. Your touring schedule will be exhausting at best, and you'd better hope you had a good manager and attorney to negotiate your contract from the get go. There are things like concessions, mechanical royalties, TV etc.
We at AMP believe with the current trend of the digital crossroads all of that is changing. We are working on a new cutting edge model that we believe will help you to do-it-yourself and retain the profit you deserve from your talent and your effort. Here's a happy note. You should be able to make approximately the same profit selling around 10,000 copies as you would with a label selling 500,000.00 copies. Sounds sick, it is. We will be sharing how this is possible in our upcoming wedinar series Evolution of a Song. Hit us back!!!!!

Want to be the organ grinders monkey?

What's it like in the traditional sense of having a record deal? It's very much like being the organ grinder's monkey. He turns the crank and you dance. What happened to the days of being an artist that is true to self? Have we lost our identity along the way? I think identity has been lost at the price of fame and fortune. We at tcwmmusic.com want to be a part of bridging the gap towards bringing the spirit of the creative artist back to the front. Have you heard the term cookie cutter, or everything sounds the same? God did not give us talent to be like everyone else. He created us to be individuals. Do you want to be a part of bringing individual creativity back? If so come join us at  as we begin to bridge the gap.
